Owatonna Auto Repair

I recently moved back to the Owatonna area and needed a new mechanic shop. I chose Honest-1 Auto Care because it is a AAA endorsed shop. I know that means they have to meet higher than average standards of customer service and satisfaction. I was not disappointed. The first thing I liked was the ability to book an appointment online on their easy to navigate website. I received a confirmation the next day and reminders by text and email. When I went in for my first oil change, I was not only sent a photo of my cabin filter, but they brought it out to show it to me where I was waiting in the spacious and comfortable lounge area. At the end of my appointment, it was recommended that I replace my tires, which I was expecting. I was given a printout with 3 good options and I was able to secure an appointment time later that week with time to go home and research the tires before deciding. The new tires are great and I feel confident for my road trip this weekend. As I was leaving, I asked about a good local carwash and that sparked a conversation about touchless vs touch car washes and I learned something new! I am very pleased with my decision to make Honest-1 Auto Care my new go-to mechanic shop.

Great and timely service!

First time getting service here and great first impression. They allowed me to come in after I missed my appointment - the confirmation went to junk. And the modern approach they use with the texting, images, and updates was cool to see. The repair was just a basic flat tire repair but the whole process was smooth, polite, and fairly priced.

Great prices, great people. The customer service ive gotten here alone is enough to get me to come back, but the people are great also. They have a shuttle service that has been a HUGE help to me the 2 times I've been in.

Able to get me in the same day! Kept me up to date and had very reasonable estimates! Will be bringing my cars here in the future! Highly recommend.

They took care of the issue and did a quality job, They also gave me a loaner to use since the repairs took a couple days. They also have a pickup service which is very convenient!

This is my second option as a go to mechanic shop. They're on top of everything on a timely manner along with good communication. Love the detailed email for things that has been checked out for your vehicle and a paper copy of what you should or need to get done with a rough estimate. Definitely recommend Honest-1.

I have to say that this place is wonderful. I have gone to them for a few different reasons and they are super helpful and happy to help. I think they are reasonably priced. They even helped me out by making sure I had a loner car over a weekend to make sure that I wouldn't be stranded on the side of the road. The alternator they put in for me was faulty and went out on me again and they replaced it for me free of charge. Super helpful! 10 out of 10 recommend these guys!
